Facts about Papua New Guinea:

Over 6 million people live in this small country just north of Australia

The land is filled with rugged, tribal people that were once cannibalistic with animistic religions

Over 70% of the population lives in extreme poverty

About 80% of the population is unemployed
40% of the population is under the age of 16

HIV is growing so fast that there is fear it will reach sub-Saharan Africa levels

The Foursquare movement is working hard to reach the many tribes, tongues, and people of Papua New Guinea.  Animistic religions are all over the country often mixed with the dead religion of other faiths.  The Greer’s role is to help develop youth ministries that are 100% committed to relationship with God, not religion.  They also equip new pastors and leaders through teaching and running the Bible College.
